company of heroes steam cannot download mods

You didn't mention this in your post but did you check your drives (C,E,D or wherever you have steam installed) and type in. This partially works, I found out 50% of my custom stuff in the folder you specified but the other half (which I subscribed to later) didn't show up in neither place so I don't know what to do now, tried verifying the game multiple times, all I have left is rename the Company of Heroes 2 folder in my docs to something else as another guy did or re-install the game. Also make sure your date and time is set correctly. From what I experienced, it downloads on your computer for sure, but it might not properly unpack. Only COH maps have that file name so if you search for just the file type, your computer will find it. If you still don't know what to do or what you are doing, then go into your C:Drive or whatever drive you installed steam in, and do a. Those are the mods, maps, tuners downloaded from the workshop. In the referenced folder, the folders in there will be long numbers. I am copying what I said up above in the comments but Go to the steam folder, go to userdata/some long number/ugc/referenced. When you subscribe via in-game or steam, it's suppose to automatically download to that mod folder but in your case, it's not. If are looking for the maps and tuner, it won't be in the mod's folder in COH 2 if you are not seeing them in game.

just trying looking in there (stated in first paragraph) for your stuff. I suspect it's either a Relic problem or Steam problem because there is just a huge gap between the game and steam putting the files in the right place. Oh, also when I join lobbies, I can't automatically download the maps or mods which forces me to leave the lobby. I put a ticket number out there for support but I'm not holding my breath. Mine doesn't for some reason but at least I know where my downloads although its inconvenient.

I posted this problem on Reddit and someone said the folder was where downloads go but are suppose to unpack into the right folder. Go to the steam folder, go to userdata/some long number/ugc/referenced. SGA seach (the file type for mods, tuners, maps) and found them in a very weird location. For me, I have noticed that my downloads do not go into the Company of Heroes folder.
